Question Can Birds Have Hamster Food?

I have a whole $5.00 bag of hamster food leftover form when I was hamster sitting for my sons friend. Is it ok to feed to the birds?

It has:Lots of stuff such as: corn, sunflower, wheat, shelled peanuts, oat groats, ground corn, dehulled soybean, rolled barley, rolled oats, alfalfa, whole peanuts, millet, dried fruits of all sorts, dehydrated carrots, white northern beans, pumpkin seeds, and other different vitamin supplements. I just wanted to spread it outside for the birds and squirrels, someone let me know if this is O.K.?
It actually says it is mouse and rat food?

squirrels are in the prairie dog family/mammals , but every time I have had one to raise my enitre family calls it a rodent! I don't know what they've got against the cute little creatures!

Put it out. If the birds don't eat it, the squirrels and other animals will.

My son doesn't see those boys anymore. i took the whole bag outside and put some in the tree, and on the fence and in the grass. No body came for a while, then when I came back from running my errands, I had about 4 squirrels enjoying a lovely Thanksgiving dinner! The didn't even run when they saw me this time.

All the ingredients are bird, squirrel and rodent friendly. If one doesn't get it the other one will.
