Default Pampered Chef Mini Loaf Pan Question

I have one of those stone mini loaf pans that makes 4 mini loaves. I have never used it before and was thinking about using it to make Banana Bread. Is there anything I can do to make sure that the bread won't stick? Can I spray with cooking spray, or is that bad for the stone stuff?

    HELP!!!

It is not bad at all. In fact, until the pan is 'seasoned', it should be sprayed. The big NO NO's are putting the hot pan in the sink (ALWAYS let it cool completely before cleaning), washing it with soap (USE THE SCRAPER for any baked on stuff, otherwise just soak in hot water--NO SOAP) and air dry. I love my pampered chef pans and probably don't use them as much as I should. I just don't like the weight.

I have these and a couple of other stones and it has been awhile so didn't remember what I done so I went and looked it up online. Here is what they say to do.

    Preparing Your Stoneware
Prior to first use, clean Stoneware thoroughly (see “How to Clean”).
To season your Stoneware, grease and/or flour your Stoneware according to package or recipe directions for the first several bakings. After these bakings, your Stoneware will begin to season and greasing may not be required.

    Hope that helps.

Thank you Ladies! I will be spraying until it is seasoned. It turned out that I was short on sugar last night, so after I run out and get sugar, I will be making my Banana Bread today. (Colls Banana bread, of course. There IS no other Banana Bread as far as I am concerned!)
