    Default Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes

Do you ever hear of someone who reallys does win? I've been buying magazines from them since 1983, and you know how they always send you sweepstakes entry forms and that along wtih your sheet of magazine stickers? Seems that they just want you to buy more and more, although you can enter wtihout an order. I think it's funny how that if you miss an entry, all of a sudden you get a reply telling you that it 'could have been you. Mrs. so & so, if only you had entered, you could have been the $100,000 winner or whatever. I do keep on ordering cuz I like the option of making 4 equal payments instead of a lump sum. I always wonder if anyone does win???

I've been buying from them for years as well. All I've ever won is the chance to try again, nothing tangible.

I've been entering for years--the last few online. I never buy anything. I've seen stories on some network, though, with interviews with winners. Was very interesting.

If I get the mail before DH they are ripped and put in the trash. Otherways he sends them in... I don't know of anyone personally who has won, but some good friends of ours have a friend who won back in the 70' or early 80's

I'm glad someone brought this topic up. I always used to throw their things away when I got them, but about 2 months ago I did order something from them because I saw some cute things for the grandkids they were offering at a good deal. Now I am being bombarded with mail from them every week, several times a week. Seems now that I am in the drawing for sooooo many prizes if only I will apply the lucky stickers and mail the things back. I am never going to order anything from them again. But its like getting a chain letter. I keep thinking that even tho its probably a waste of my stamps, the one I throw away MIGHT be the prize I would have won.

Maybe they are in league with the postal service. They keep MAKING you buy stamps
