Default Salad dressing for Applebees Shrimp and Spinach Salad

I am looking for the dressing recipe that Applebees uses on their Shrimp and Spinach Salad. It is sweet and I think it has bacon in it. Does anyone know how they make it? Thanks for your help.

GRILLED SHRIMP 'N SPINACH SALAD - description

An irresistible mix of tender spinach, fresh diced tomatoes, roasted red peppers, red onions, toasted sliced almonds and hot bacon vinaigrette - all topped with succulent grilled shrimp.

There is no Applebee's copycat recipe available. Here is the basic idea. Change the ingredients, as necessary, to the Applebee's ingredients. Have fun experimenting and please share your results with us.

    WARM SPINACH SALAD
Source: Andrew McCoy and Scott's Seafood Grill and Bar
    Servings: 6

    HOT BACON BALSAMIC VINAIGRETTE:
    7 egg yolks*
1 1/2 cups extra virgin olive oil
    1/2 cup Balsamic vinegar
1/4 pound cooked bacon, drained, crumbled
    1 shallot, roasted
    3 cloves garlic, roasted
    1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
    2 teaspoons brown sugar
    1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    Salt and pepper, to taste

    SPINACH SALAD:
    3 cups spinach
    1 egg, chopped
    2 teaspoons bacon bits
    1 shallot, roasted
    1 teaspoon feta cheese
    3 Belgian endive leaves
4 jumbo shrimp, (16-20 size), grilled

    HOT BACON BALSAMIC VINAIGRETTE:
With a blender or hand mixer, emulsify egg yolks and oil until thick and creamy. Add vinegar and all other ingredients, and season to taste with salt and pepper.

    SPINACH SALAD:
Heat dressing over low heat and toss with spinach until it begins to wilt.

Plate spinach and garnish with the rest of the ingredients, placing grilled shrimp/prawns on top.

Salad dressing for Applebee's Grilled Shrimp and Spinach Salad
Board: Copycat Recipe Requests at Recipelink.com

I have made this salad and I think I have found the ideal dressing to make this salad taste almost like the one at Applebee's. I bought Marie's Sesame Ginger salad dressing warmed it in the microwave, crumbled bacon into it and added light brown sugar to taste. Reheat so the sugar will melt and not be grainy. Good luck, almost as good as being there and quite simpler than trying to make your own salad dressing.

I made this other day and it tasted just like Applebee's Spinach Salad dressing. I used 1/8 cup Kraft Light Raspberry Vinaigrette, 1/8 cup brown sugar, 1-2 bacon strips broken up into pieces and slices of red peppers. Warm this in a saucepan until a little thick and bubbly. Make sure the sugar is melted. Pour this, while it's still warm, over the spinach leaves and other salad ingredients (You know what they are...). It's so good!!!
