Yep, I was trying to avoid the TONS of recipes!! LOL I get sooo bogged down in figuring out which is best. Guess I just have to start somewhere.

Really, these aren't just any chocolate chunk cookie. They are nice and slightly crispy on the outside, real soft center and the chunks of chocolate are really good sized. Definitely a milk chocolate too.

Hi, did you ever locate the recipe for Penn Station's Chocolate chunk cookies? I noticed that you posted your request a while ago. I just had their cookie and I would love to make my own. I've never tasted a better chocolate chip cookie! Please send and/or post the recipe if you have it. Thanks!!

Unfortunately I never did find this recipe. Maybe I should be thankful because Im sure it would have added pounds!!! There is something different about these cookies - they are soooo good. I did ask and they said they are shipped to them frozen, and all they do is cook them.

If you ever do find it please post to this thread!!

Hi Everyone, I know I'm late but I have an idea! If my taste buds serve me correct, the chocolate chunks in the cookie could be either belgium milk chocolate or similar to the chocolate of a Carmello bar. Maybe worth an addition to a standard cookie recipe, taken out <5 minutes early (to replicate the chewy texture)?

CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIES (with Belgian chocolate)

1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, Room Temperature
    3/4 cup Sugar
    3/4 cup Brown Sugar
    2 Whole Eggs
    1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
    2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
    1 tsp Baking Soda
1 cup Callebaut Belgian dark chocolate
1 cup Callebaut Belgian Milk Chocolate

Preheat oven to 350 F. Prepare a baking sheet.
In a large mixing bowl or with an electric mixer, cream the butter and both sugars.
Add eggs, one at a time, and vanilla extract. Sift together and add to mixture.
Mix until the dough just comes together.

By hand, fold in the chocolate chunks.
Scoop cookie dough with a large spoon onto the baking sheet.
Bake for 7-8 minutes for gooey cookies and 9-10 minutes for crisper cookies.
Cool on wire rack before serving.
