    Popeyes Biscuits (Copycat)
    Recipe #50737 | 27 min | 15 min prep |

They taste just like the restaurant. Fluffy and light and so easy to make.
    SERVES 4

    Ingredients
    2 cups bisquik baking mix
    1/2 cup light sour cream
    1/2 cup Sprite

    Directions
    1) Mix Bisquick and sour cream with pastry blender.
    2) Stir in Sprite.
    3) Pat lightly on a floured surface.
    4) Cut out biscuits and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet at 400F for 10-12 minutes. Brush with melted butter and enjoy.

These may not be Popeye's but they are amazing

    BEST EVER BISCUITS
    Source of Recipe: Midsouthmom CK

    4 C biscuit mix
    1 C cold 7-up
    1 C sour cream
    1 stick butter

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Melt 1/2 the stick of butter in a 9x13 inch glass or metal pan. Put biscuit mix in a deep bowl and make a "well" in the center. Put sour cream in well and pour 7-up on top. Allow to bubble. Gently fold and mix just enough to form dough. Roll out on floured board to 1 inch thickness and cut to desired size or pinch biscuits. Place in pan. Squeeze all of biscuits into pan for high, fluffy biscuits. Melt the other 1/2 stick of butter and pour over the top of the biscuits. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 12 to 14 biscuits
