I love scallops sauted in butter and garlic. What is your favorite way to have them. Looking for something different.

I marinate them in a little italian dressing, some butter, garlic and lemon and throw them on the grill (in a grill basket). Making them tomorrow, but going to try Caesar dressing this time.
That sounds really good. I love swordfish cooked this way and never even thought about a grill basket and doing scallops.

We like them sauted with butter, garlic and white wine, a scallap mushrroom and lime Kabob and if you like shrimp too Rachael Ray has a nice recipe for Venetian Shrimp and Scallops.
I like my scallops in alfredo sause and linguini.

I like them in ceviche!
Our favorite way (and, it's scallop season in the area right now!!) is to dry the scallops, then roll in flour, then an egg wash, and finish with bread crumbs. Saute in butter quickly. Simple and wonderful. BTW, DH took the grandkids last week for scalloping -- they came back with 13 which were sauteed in the butter and garlic -- wonderful, wonderful. The scallops were plentiful this year, but the grandkids were squeemish about catching them..
