    Question Pattypan recipes...

DD gave me three from her garden. I found some recipes on the internet but wondered if anyone had a tried and true one. Never had one before. Thanks.

I usually just cut them up (if small ones if lg peel thick rind) with onions and cook it in chicken broth and whatever spices or herbs you like.

I'd never heard of them before this season either. A girlfriend has given me three of them so far. First one I used for kabobs on the grill. Wonderful. Last two I deep fried. Just had one last night. Cut into finger-size strips. Soaked in buttermilk (only because I had to use it up), dredged in seasoned flour and fried ‘til crispy. Served with Ranch dressing. Really good!
