    are they roasted, mashed, a salad? I don't see anything on thier menu? Describe and maybe we can come up wih something! 8)

    Golden Corral Smokey Cheese Potato Bake

    2 qts. (2 1/2 lbs.) Red Bliss potatoes, quartered
    3 cups Hash brown cheese sauce, thawed
    6 oz. (1 1/2 cups) shredded cheddar cheese
    1/2 cup bacon bits
    1/2 cup red or green peppers, diced 1/4 "

    Procedures
    Prep Procedures:

    1. Wash potatoes in hot water to remove dirt or debris.
    2. Cut potatoes into quarters.
    3. Place cut potatoes in a meat pan, cover with water. Cover meat pan with lid and store in the cooler until needed.
    4. Place potatoes in a perforated pan.
    5. Steam for 20 minutes or until potatoes are slightly soft.
    6. Store steamed potatoes in a covered meat pan and keep under refrigeration until ready to bake.

    Hot Cook:

    1. Combine 2 qts. of steamed potatoes, 3 cups of hash brown cheese sauce, cheddar cheese, bacon bits, and diced red or green peppers in mixing bowl.
    2. Mix thoroughly with a spatula until the hash brown cheese sauce covers the potatoes.
    3. Pour potato mixture into a half-size s.s. pan sprayed with non-stick spray.
    4. Bake uncovered in a convection oven at 325F for 20-25 minutes.
    5. Serve immediately on hot bar or hold in food warmer until ready to serve.
