About 6 months ago I saw a recipe somewhere?????
All I remember is "deepfry a pork roast for 3 hours."
It sounded interesting, so I searched for a turkey deepfryer. Now I have a turkey deepfryer, and can't find the recipe.

You are looking for a carnitas recipe. You do not deep fry for 3 hours you simmer the pork roast in lard for 3 hours and then turn the heat up for the last 15 minutes or so to crisp the outside. Absolutely heaven.
See the illustrated directions at The Paupered Chef: http://thepauperedchef.com/2009/01/authentic-canitas-and-three-pounds-of-lard.html

It is really good, so worth making!
Carnitas, that sounds familiar. Now I can try making it in a turkey fryer, LOL.
Thanks everyone.
