Unhappy angelfood cake with lemon pie filling

Somewhere on the old site I saw a recipe for an angelfood cake mix and a can of lemon pie filling. Now I can't find the recipe again.
Could someone help me out. Thanks

I found this one for you. It may not be the same.

Angel Food Cake With Lemon Filling

1 store bought angel food cake
    1 can lemon pie filling
    1 carton lemon flavored yogurt
    6 oz. Cool Whip

Mix lemon pie filling and lemon yogurt together.
Cut angel food cake into three (3) layers.
Spread mixture on top of each layer, except for the top.(You could if you want to)
Spread regular Cool Whip around sides (in and out) and on top.Place in refrigerator -keep cool.
If using Lite Cool Whip, do not put on until last minute as it has a tendency to break down and run.Doesn't look pretty.
Spicy food speeds up your metabolism. Put salsa on your cupcakes.

I'll bet Glory is looking for the weight watcher recipe where you mix the ingredients together .... don't have that one, but just wait for fatkat and apanda .... they are moving all our "old" recipes over to this new site. If I am remembering correctly, this recipe was in the "diet" section. Now for SuzieQ's recipe, I'm printing that one out. Have 2 cans of lemon pie filling in my pantry that have been looking for a recipe like this! Sounds like a nice refreshing summer recipe. Thanks for sharing it.

Is it the Lemon Pillow Cake?

    Lemon Pillow Cake

1 (18.25 ounce) box white cake mix
    1 can lemon pie filling

Mix cake as directed on box and pour batter into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Place spoonsful of lemon pie filling over the batter. Bake as directed on the box. Let cool completely.

    Frosting
1 can ready-to-spread lemon flavored frosting
    1 container Cool Whip

Mix frosting and Cool Whip together and spread on cake. Store in the refrigerator.

    Talking 2 ingredients only.....

see if this could be it? all you have to do is change the pie filling.

    Blueberry Squares

    Prep Time | 5 min.
    Cook Time | 30 min.
Level of Difficulty | Easy cakes | Always fat-free, angel food cake helps to lighten up these tasty treats. To keep the Calories even lower use light blueberry pie filling.

    Ingredients

1 package angel food cake mix, about 14 1/2 oz
22 oz light fruit pie filling, blueberry (I also use strawberry, my little nephew's fav)

    Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

Combine ingredients. Pour batter into an ungreased, 9-inch x 13-inch baking dish; bake for 30 minutes. Cool and cut into 24 pieces.

    ENJOY!!!

    Smile one idea,

I guess I haven't seen a recipe, but the secretary at school makes:

    angel food cake
    low cal lemon pudding
mixes the pudding with cool whip

I made the WW recipe, but hubby thought it was too tart. (Actually, he knew it was a WW recipe & he's automatically allergic to those.)
