Smoothies using Slim-Fast

I got these recipes in my Slim-Fast and tried them out....yummmm.

Cappuccino Smoothie

1 heaping scoop Slim-Fast Optima Frence Vanilla Shake Mix ( I have also used Cholate Royale)
1 cup fat free milk
2 tsp. instant coffee or expresso powder
1 packet Splenda Sweetner
1 cup ice cubes (about 6-8)

Process all ingredients in blender until smooth. I have a wonderful Vita-Mix Blender that can crush the ice well. Put ice into a plastic bag and pre-crush it before adding it to your blender so it will not damage your blender blades if it does not crush ice. Serve immediately. Enjoy!

Apple Pie a La Mode Shake

1 scoop Slim-fast Optima French Vanilla Shake Mix
1 cup peeled and chopped (Gala or Golden Delicious apple
3/4 cup fat free milk
1/8 tsp. apple pie spice*
1/2 cup ice cubes (about 3-4)

* Substitution: Use 1/16 tsp. ground cinnamon and a pinch of ground nutmeg.

1 scoop Slim-fast Optima Milk Chocolate Shake Mix
3/4 cup Rasberries
3/4 cup fat free milk
1/2 cup ice cubes (about 3-4)

Process all ingredients in blender until smooth. I have a wonderful Vita-Mix Blender that can crush the ice well. Put ice into a plastic bag and pre-crush it before adding it to your blender so it will not damage your blender blades if it does not crush ice. Serve immediately. Enjoy!

does this really mask the Slim Fast taste??? I've tried slim
fast and can't get past "that taste" it leaves you with.

I think so...can't understand what you are tasting. Give it a try is all I can say, we love them and they are good for me.
