I want to make fishwich sandwiches

I don't think I've ever bought frozen fish before (like fish sticks or patties)
Is there a brand that is better than others for fish sandwiches like they have at fast food places?

I used to buy frozen fish sticks many years ago and I believe it was Mrs. Paul. Today I would buy fresh fish filet ( white fish) and coat it and fry it up, get a bun, tartar sauce or remoulade sauce, lettuce, maybe onions .

I love crappie, but for frozen, I buy Gorton's .......they seem crisper to me than any other frozen.

I remember having nasty fish sticks when we were growing up...tasted
like card board to me.

Although I like Filet O Fish sandwich from McDonald's, I just can't
bring myself to buy frozen fish sticks or patties.

Well, they didn't give me much choice. The only brand the store carries is Gorton's. Haven't tried them yet.

When I Was At Wal-mart Last Night I Went Thru The Freezer Section To Get Dh Some White Castle Burgers For His Lunch (and The Didn't Have Any!) But I Saw The Frozen Fish, They Had Alot Of The Gortons, And I Remembered I Had Tried Them, And They Were Good.

Oh my goodness - you just brought back memories of Arthur Treacher's Fish & Chips when I was growing up. I loved their fish with malt vinegar. And saved the very best for last, the crispy bits of fried breading left in the bottom of the basket. Haven't tasted anything even close since I was a kid.

We had one of those back when I was a kid too. Every Friday night
we would go there and the line would be out the door.
