I googled it and came up w/ this baked version. There are lots of comments about making them even better. Now I can't wait to try them!! Do you think this is what you're looking for??
I couldn't find the Hard Rock Cafe recipe - maybe you could try this with a similar seasoning (whatever that is?)
How to Make Zucchini Chips
Source: By Meredith Simonds / eHow Member
Instructions
Things You'll Need:
* 6 zucchinis
* 2 cups flour
* 1 tsp. onion powder
* 1 tsp. garlic powder
* 1 tsp. salt
* 1 cup milk, soy milk or rice milk
* ½ cup canola or extra virgin olive oil
1. Peel your zucchinis. For a potato chip crispiness, thinly slice your zucchinis to 1/8 inch thick. For zucchini chips that are more tender in the middle, slice to a ¼ to ½ inch thickness.
2. In mixing bowl, combine flour, onion powder, garlic powder and salt. Mix well.
3. Heat oil on medium heat. Submerge zucchini chips in milk, and then dip both sides in the flour mixture. Place in hot oil and fry until golden brown. Flip and fry the other side until golden brown.
4. Drain the zucchini chips on paper towels.
5. Serve hot or cold, alone or with your favorite vegetable dip.
Tips & Warnings
Instead of frying, you may bake the zucchini chips in a 350-degree oven until golden brown, approximately 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the thickness of the chips.
If you do bake your zucchini chips, flip them two or three times throughout the cooking process.
For a spicy variation on these zucchini chips, try adding ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper to Step Two.
were these starters or a side? I can't find them on a menu?
We went to the Hard Rock in Orlando, FL. I just checked the website's menu for this location and its
not listed. It was like 3 weekends ago and it was on the menu. It was listed as an starter.
