Profile change... my dot is always red!

Just got back from vacation and was reading a post about dots.. (Thread is closed).. OK.. I see that I have a red dot.. I clicked on it. and it said I was invisible. I know people see me.. not just Odd Thomas!... How do I make myself "visible"???

I'm not sure what the big deal is with the dots. If it is red, your name is invisible at the bottom of the front page (you will see your name with a star by it, but others won't see it at all), if it is green, your name in visable at the bottom of the page.

This is a setting that comes up when you first register. Maybe it isn't perfectly clear as to what invis/vis means.
