  • Please recommend your blender.

I'd like to buy a blender to make smoothies and such. If you love your blender please tell me about it and the price range if you don't mind.

    Thanks!

Mine is an old Oster, stainless steel, with a glass container. It works great!

What ever you do get one with lots of power. I have a really old blender that I never use because it burns up and I also have a Back to Basics Smoothie make I got for a gift but I hate it because it is not strong enough to chop ice for smoothies

My dad has an Oster that is ancient and is the BEST - stainless steel and full of power!!! Sounds like the one Kayce has.

I have an Oster and a Cuisinart. The Oster I love and the Cuisinart is good too. Babe of a DH picked up the Oster when a local K Mart was closing and it was about $10... he bought every one they had and we gave them as gifts to every one!! It is AWESOME for smoothies! The Cuisinart was a gift.

I have an oster that was given to me to make baby food for my youngest. She is almost 28 and it is working fine!

This is the one we bought back in March. http://www.blackanddeckerappliances.com/product-14.html

We had looked at a cuisinart that was 600 watts but twice the price and I just couldn't justify that. Glad we made the choice we did. This one works like a charm my boys make smoothies all the time with. And I love that it has a good thick glass container.

I love my Kitchenaid, and it does a fantastic job on my protein shakes, but I also have a Magic Bullet which works well too.
