lap top or desk top?

desk top... a very old one running Windows ME! We have three desk tops (all as old as each other) and Charlie has a laptop that he takes to university.

Desktop here, this household has 2 desktops and 2 laptops but I just don't care for the laptops, probably 'cos I used desktops so long before trying a lap top. It's the keypad that throws me off, with the laptop I am always having to backspace and retype 'cos I'm on the wrong keys.

I use both. I love my desktop and use it when I am at home. I have a laptop for school. I am not a fan of laptops, but they are necessary. DH has 2 laptops. He works from home, so they are are here as well. The kids have a computer too, but they both use mine.

I use both too, but mostly my desktop. We have 2 desktops and 3 laptops in this house. I like the laptops only because you can sit anywhere you want, but for me the keyboards are too small.

Both here to. I like the laptop best and use it when I can. If DH is on the laptop I use the desktop. I like the touch pad on the laptop. I download all my pics on the laptop, I like that I can take it with me to show off pics or see which ones my family wants.

I have both, but definitely like the desktop better. Like memc and tastebud said, it is the keyboard that throws me off. Mine is too sensitive and too small. I make a lot of typos.
