  • Help With My Bread

I keep getting these holes in my bread. The taste and the texture are perfect but I keep getting these cavernous holes; can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong?

do you roll the dough flat before you put it in the pan? I found that it helps with the texture as it gets large air pockets out.
Just roll it out like you would a pie crust, in a rectangle, the size of your pan. Roll it up tight, starting with the short end, put seam at bottom of loaf and seal by pinching dough together. Tuck each end under and seal in the same manner. Does this make sense?

I do that. I roll the dough out fold it into thirds and roll it out again; then I roll it up as tightly as I can and seal the edge and the ends.

Could you be using too much yeast? My recipe calls for 2 1/4 tsp yeast for 3 cups flour.
