I fold mine like that. Then I lay it in the middle of the folded flat sheet with the pillow cases and fold it over once more. That way the whole set is together and it takes up less space.

Fitted Sheets, revisited
Quite a while back I complained about not being able to fold a fitted sheet. Well, I found this and thought I'd pass it along. It is easy and really works! I learned in one try.
