          You usually have to steal the crates or maybe someone really nice will let you have them. I use them for storing. How do you use them for a vegetable garden?

            I see these for sale at Dollar General, Deals, Odd Lots & other discount stores. They're great for all kinds of storage!

              I live in an apartment and started an indoor vegie/herb garden, they call it "container gardening". I'm putting up a 5 foot table in front of this window so the plants get full sun all day, instead of being down on the floor. I've got tomatoes, radishes, lettuce, chives and oregano so far. Chives and oregano are already sprouting. *grin*
