  • So sad, another actor died

It seems like every day now their is a star that I grew up watching but is now dead. Harvey Korman on Carol Burnett now died. I guess I'm getting old. It used to be everytime they named an actor that died I never heard of the person.

I loved him especially when Tim Conway would make him laugh & they could not get threw the segment. I was shocked that he was 81yrs old. Time really went by fast. I loved that show. You always knew that Tim & him would crack up, that was the best part.

It is very sad... I wish they would play The Carol Burnett Show on TV Land, like I Love Lucy and such...

Oh my gosh!! I hadn't heard!! I loved Harvey, Tim and Carol. What great laughs. I also wish they would bring back the Carol Burnett repeats. Maybe they will have a show marathon in his honor since Mr. Korman has passed on.

He was a tremendous comedic talent. Every once and a while, we will get a few reruns of the Carol Burnett show, but they are always 'condensed'. I loved the 'Gone with the Wind' takeoff and 'As the Stomach Turns'. Harvey and Tim's dentist routine is an absolute classic. Vicky Lawrence is still doing the 'Mama' charactor as a stand up routine. Saw it advertised for one of the local casinos' entertainment.

Vicky Lawrence also does her stand up routine in Las Vegas. I enjoy watching reruns of Mama's family, funny. I always enjoyed watching Harvey and Carol as Ed and Eunice, so funny.

Harvey Korman can't be replaced. He was a natural comic, a clean one too. Several years ago, he and Tim Conway were playing at a casino in Laughlin. Sure wish I'd gone to see them together. Our family will miss Harvey. I've seen Viki Lawrence advertised as being at The Orleans Casino and The Suncoast Casino, and tickets are around $35.Seems she's there 3 or 4 times a year. I'll bet she puts on a good show.

So very sad to loose them, but at least their memories are encased on film for all generations to appreciate. (and might I say, that so many of these wonderful actors have had beautiful and peaceful deaths surrounded by very caring family and friends)

LOVED him as Hedy Lamar... "That's Headly, you idiot!!" (Blazing Saddles... one of my all-time faves!!)

The Carol Burnett Show was SOOO good... that they couldn't get thru a sketch w/o laughing just made it all the funnier!!
