Somebody on the old board had a cat named Tripod cause he didn't have but 3 legs if I remember correctly.....does anyone remember who Tripod owned? I think about Tripod once in a while - he sure was a character!!!

My very first post on the old board was requesting an age-old recipe for a cake my grandmother used to fix called Shoebox Cake. I was almost positive that I would never find it, but someone found the recipe for me within an hour of my request. I would love to be able to remember who found it for me! Was it you, Rube?

What is the Shoebox cake like? My grandmother made something she called an icebox cake it was a yellow cake with a light chocolate frosting and she stored it in the fridge. I've looked for the recipe for years and have never found it.

Tripod is my furbaby!!!! Hes all grown up and we call him Trey now. Hes doing well!

Well, I could start a thread about him! Even as an adult cat, he's still pretty funny and has a very unique and loving personality. For instance... my DD brought home a Pug puppy and I bought the puppy a pool. The first one in the pool was Trey! He's definately different!

Not to hijack, but this thread got me to thinking..I sometimes wonder *who* it was that had the neighbor that was coming in their yard and getting rocks or something??? Or doing something on their properity..Anyone remember this??
