  • Finding really small scrub tops

DD buys XXS and they still are swimming on her. Some are poly & won't shrink.

    What to do ............

Do you sew? Know somebody who does ? Just take the seams in.

Wow, if I could only be so lucky! I'm at the complete other end of the spectrum!

What about child sizes? I know that Jasco does sell scrubs for children. The patterns would be extremely limited, but that may be an option.

Only other thing I can think of is that scrubs cant be that hard to sew yourself! If you sew at all, or know someone who does, maybe you can take small scrub pattern and scale it down and make your own. Or have someone alter the XXS's to make them fit her better. Good luck!

I've Seen At Wal-mart Scrub Tops In The Childrens Section. I'm Not Sure Of The Pattern, But She May Check That Out.

Also, Medelita.com has scrubs from size 0-14, instead of ordering them S-M-L. They're a little pricey, but the fit may be better.

There is a place in downtown los angeles that sells discount scrubs, they may have small sizes since it caters to an asian population. It will take me time to recall the name and address but I promise you that I will get it for you

My DD has the opposite problem too--especially for pants. I finally started sewing them for her. I actually had to go out and buy a second copy of the pattern because I wore out the first one and couldn't read my alterations anymore. Many of her co-workers have asked where she gets her pants, because they actually FIT. I could probably get enough orders for a sweatshop if I wanted to go into business. (Know any illegal aliens that wanna live in the boonies??)
