Fresh Friday!

[nuisance]

Had a good ole thunderstorm last night, washed everything crisp and clean. Wind blew 30mph sustained all day yesterday with gusts up to 60's, than thunder/lightening and rain started about 10pm last night. Everything green this morning, not a cloud in the sky, NO WIND!!!!

Suppose to be 90's all weekend, only problem with this rain it'll be humid. DH wants to go to Arlington this weekend to "Traders Village" a big flea market, they're having an auto swap meet! Walking all day in the heat looking at car parts!! OH BOY!!! lol

Other than that nothing planned but vegetating on the couch like usual.

We had a lot of wind here also , not a good hairday for sure LOL But just a few sprinkles. Lunch with my daughter and granddaughters today, looking forward to that. Other then that SSDD

We had thunderstorms overnight too and some rain. Very, very humid today with much higher temps. I am actually going to put on some sandals!!

Heading into town soon, to run a few errands. DH is home tonight so guess I'll have to cook--bbq sounds good. This week end is yardwork. Everything needs cutting.

Our friends from out of town are leaving tomorrow... so we've invited friends and neighbors for burgers on the grill... let the disagreements begin...

"No babe... we are NOT using paper plates... No babe... we're not grilling corn in the early afternoon and keeping it in the cooler till dinner... No babe... I'm not calling our friend and asking her if she does or doesn't get along w/ one neighbor who's coming..."

Ha ha ha... I've FINALLY gotten smart (took YEARS) and don't expect babe to offer help... he'll putter around doing his own thing while I run like a chicken w/o a head. Now I ask him to do specific things... especially today as I'm working! He'll vacuum and tidy up the house so I can cook as soon as work is done!

Weekend plans? Either lounging on the boat or lounging on my couch!! I'm pooped!

Thunderstorms here last nite too, and theyre forecasted for today too. Next few days its expected to be over 100 degrees here. Off today, got a lot of errands to run. My kitty cat loves small shiny things, so this morning I found that she got into a porcelaine dish of earrings that was on top of my armoire, and she has batted them all over the bedroom floor. So for a part of the day, I will be down on my hands and knees searching for earrings.

Only problem is DH will be there! He's a fuddy duddy!!! They're haveing Zestfest 2008 at (I think) the Ft Worth Convention Center in Sept. I would like anyone who wants to to meet up before/during/after. I'll post more when it comes that time. you can go to www.zestfest2008.com (I think lol) and has info on show, looks like fun. But, I'm going without DH so I can have fun! lol
