I might be the only person who has never heard of these. I'm watching Throwdown with Bobby Flay, and I guess Hot Browns are very popular around Kentucky and the south. They look absolutely wonderful! For all you southerners, is this a common dish in your neck of the woods?

Re: Kentucky Hot Browns
My husband grew up in Ky. He took me there and I had the Hot Brown. It is absolutely delicious and artery clogging! Every time we go back on vacation we have to get them. I have made them and they are pretty darn good, but not as good as theirs.Visit my blog at: http://midlifemotherhood45.blogspot.com/

Re: Kentucky Hot Browns
I heard of these a few years ago and have saved a couple of recipes for them, but haven't made them yet. Not sure why I haven't! They do sound so good!!!! Southern Living had a couple of different versions of them in one of their issues and I saved them...
I am thinking about going to Allrecipes.com to see if I can find a really good and high rated recipe also. I love the fact that you can read all of the reviews to see how other people "tweaked" the recipe..Lauren~The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty by the bad people but the silence over that by the good people. ~

Re: Kentucky Hot Browns
CookinKat makes these! I didnt know what they were either, but she posted in the dinner thread one day that she was making them so I asked her what they were. She was making hers with Texas toast and turkey, and covering with a cheese sauce. They sounded yummy!
