Obama vs Mc Cain just fun!!!

I know we all get a little heated on things and it is early yet, but just want to know the Hillary fans are you just going to vote Obama because of Democrat and that is what you are or are you going to think Mc Cain because you feel Hillary isn't in the running anymore and you feel Obama isn't for you. We still got more to go and more things will come up so it's just a fun thing, you all may change your minds as this goes on. I just want to see how the Democrats think at this point. It is going to be a big decision because so many people loved Hillary. Probably hate Obama or like him. Let's keep this a calm thread.

I'm not a Hilary fan but admire her tenacity. I'm not a fan of Obama or McCain either. I surely do understand why people are drawn to Obama. I am one who believes that the Republican party cannot beat the Democrats this time around. But, if Hilary fans back Obama now is it because they really back the man, or do they back the Democratic party and vote that ticket regardless of who is running? I tend to think this because I've done it in the past myself. I'm holding back on forming any loyalty to either (or any) of the candidates because I'm currently disappointed with Republican policy, and am torn between economic and moral platforms. This isn't exactly an answer to your question, I know, but find it difficult to resist a few comments.

I don't have strong feelings one way or the other. I do find that Obama is very Charismatic.. He is a good Speaker.. Hilary was certainly tenacious! Like "Pit Bull" tenacious!

I am undecided as to which way I will go this time. I have always tended to lean more towards the Republican side, and I do like McCain, but - - not real happy with the state of our country right now, and am wondering if it's not time for the Democrats to take a crack at it....

I will have to do lots of thinking before Election Day..

I tend to vote for Democrats cause my philosophy is similar... most importantly, I vote to protect a woman's right to choose. I'm just hoping Obama asks Hilary to be his running mate. I really believe they'll be unbeatable.

I vote idiology. I would NEVER vote Republican. Obama is not my first choice, but McCain is not even a possibility. I feel that nothing would change under his rule

obama has no experience,mccain does,anyone that thinks obama will change anything is dreaming,the house and senate will stop him cold,they want to stay rich, lol.but i do think mccains policies make more sense.thank god south dakota voted to build the first new oil refinery in 35 years, now if the dem. tree huggers will just let us drill.

Obama talks about "change" , but yet has to explain exactly how he is planning on bringing this change about. How is he going to change things ? Words, just words. A first term senator , with NO experience whatsoever, and one who has spent the better part of the last 18 month, if not more, on the road, instead of taking care of senate business. But then so did Hillary and McCain.

Talk about running for office, I have heard that Kay Bailey Hutchinson is running for governor of texas, I think she getting herself in position for the next presidential election, 2012

I have never heard of Kay Hutchinson, so can't comment. I think Obama better have Hilary for the VP position or he will never get elected. I just came from a family gathering and we were talking about this, most everyone agreed that we don't think Obama has a chance without Hilary as VP. If Obama does not take Hilary, I may just not vote. How can McCain relate to the middle class since his wife is loaded with money?
