Do you brown corned beef before you

cook it? I never have. I'm putting a pot on today and wondered if I should be browning the meat first...

No, I either boil it or slow cook in an oven.

I Don't Either. Either Throw It In The Crock Pot, Or In A Pan With Water In The Oven, Or Make Bbqguru's Pastrami Out Of It.

If you put it in the pot with the fat side up, then put water just up to the fat and bake it for about 4-5 hrs the fat will get nice and brown and crisp.
