  • Betty White on Password

She was so cute, I just wanted to hug her. Pretty sharp for her age. When she was doing the money round I was getting scared for her. You could tell Betty was so nervous because she wanted the lady to win. I could feel her stress. She told Regis, I am too old for this. LOL What a nice lady.

I love Betty's quick wit....she's still got it!

I only tuned in last night because of what you all said about the show. Betty White was/is an excellent actress. Sure hope I'm as sharp as that when I get to be her age.

How old is Betty White now? I remember her on Password and her own talk show when I was a kid.....and I'm no spring chicken!!

I looked it up, according to the internet she was born in 1922, so that would make her 85/86 years old. I am sorry I missed the show, totally forgot about tuning in.

The commercial I saw was cute...... she said.. "I'll have a vodka on the rocks".. Gotta love her!

I too was a little worried about sweet Betty's obvious distressed appearance during the money round....but she definitely was on target and such a good player still! I really don't feel like the probability of anyone going much past the $100,000 point is very likely because it seems so difficult. Is the show just a summer special series or will it be long term??

                Re: Betty White on Password

God bless Betty. her late husband, Allan Ludden, was the host of Password for years and years. I know that she went on the show in tribute to his memory. She's just a wonderful lady, you can tell.

I like her too. She's someone I'd pick for a friend. She doesn't seem to be full of herself, like a lot of the young stars. I'll bet the way she acts on the shows is the way she is in real life, not a phony.
