  • Flood victims

Our neighbors daughter and husband were in the path of this flooding here in Cedar Falls Ia.
I need ideas on what to make to take over. They are busy cleaning up. I would like to take food over to them any suggestions,,,,,I'm brain dead! Feed about 10-15 people.

How about subs? They are easy to take and easy to handle.

In additon to food like Salad, sandwiches....take some wet wipes of some type and some towels. I'm sure they will appreciate this.

When my dad died, someone brought over a couple of ice chests filled with drinks. they also brought over paper plates, plastic utensils, cups, etc. We so appreciated those things.
Also, large platters of cold cuts, crackers, cheese, pickles, olives. People could eat when they wanted to.
You could also get a bucket of chicken. At a time like this, a big meal might be hard to do. Stick to stuff that can be eaten cold.
