What container to marinate veggies for the grill?

I like to make kabobs of cut up peppers, shrooms, tomatoes, etc., and marinate them several hours in advance of grilling, but what container to use, that the ends of the sticks won't poke through and leak all over the fridge?

I just cut up the veggies and marinate them in a zip-loc bag. If you use bamboo skewers you can just soak them separately in the sink before grilling.

What about putting them in your cake pan, or any 13x9x2 pan, or plastic "bowl" that's long and flat bottomed.

I would use a cookie sheet, of course cover it with foil, less clean up

i would marinade the stuff before you skewer with sticks, so much easier.

I do mine the same as chickyp!
Just load up a Ziploc and toss them in!
The longer you let them sit in the marinade the better. Yummmmmmmmmm!

ah, i never thought to marinate preskewering .......... or cookie sheet. thanks all !
