We just got back from camping and MAN IS IT HOOOOTTT!!!!! everyone is burned up and tired, but we slept like baby's ...lol I put a A/C window unit in the tent

That would be the only way I would go camping in the summer. I would stay in the air conditioned tent all day, too!
It's just way too hot to sleep outside in the summer time.

I love to go camping. DH is a city boy and hates it. He doesn't mind as much now that we have the pop up camper. I prefer to go early or late, before it gets too hot. Now that the kids aren't in school, we don't have to wait until the summer months.

ive climbed mountains in colo.,backpacked the sawtooths in idaho,hiked through snow in july,lets go camping, lol

We went to Loyd park at Joe Pool lake. I like going there for 1 day trips it only 15-20mins. away and only 5mins. from a grocery store.
