Is Monday over yet?

It's been a Monday all over. Started out saw on news a house burned to ground because propane tank on BBQ grill blew up, go to work found out it was one of the Doctors houses, she had lit the grill, went inside and it blew! Thank God she wasn't still in front of it. Burned the house to the ground, only thing they got out with was their lives, no clothes, nothing. The other Docs are putting some money together so they can go buy clothes and whatever, they're staying at the Holiday Inn.

A couple girls didn't show up for work, so puts extra work on everyone else.

and it's Monday. 100° and humid.
is anything going to go right today?

OMG, that's awful!! Doctor or no, how tragic to lose everything you own! The pictures, memories... How big is the family? Thank God no one was hurt...

You can replace houses and things, clothes etc. You cannot replace your kids baby pictures, or other pictures, or sentimental type stuff that maybe your parents gave you at one time. that's the hard thing.

She Was Able To Get Some Important Papers Out, Hopefully Some Pic With It. Her Grill Was On The Patio, I Think I May Move Mine Away From The House, Just In Case. I Haven't Heard, But Their Cars Are Usally In The Garage, Hopefully If They Had Time To Get Papers Out They Had Time To Get The Cars Out Also. She's From The Phillipines, Had A Bunch Of Sentimental Stuff From Home That's Irreplaceable. But...... No One Was Hurt, That Makes It Better.

i only use charcoal grills,but im suprised a small propane tank would catch a house on fire that fast,glad they all made it alive,i thought my monday was bad, lol.

I guess it could if the tank EXPLODES! And I was complaining this morning cause I'm pretty sure Saturday and Sunday are shorter than all the other days!

It was under the patio, so caught the roof on fire.


THEN!!!! I get home. Tomorrow's pot luck. I go to the freezer, I'm going to make some pulled pork. The freezer doors standing open about 3". I open it up, and everything is melted!!! Something rolled near the door when I closed it yesterday and it stopped it and it never close. So from noon yesterday to this afternoon, a whole freezer of sh...tuff ruined!!
Luckily not alow of meat. Had a side of pork ribs, 4 or 5 baggies of chicken tenders with probably 10-12 tenders in each baggie, 3 pork roasts (I caught a sale) 20 or so leftover eggrolls, all the squash I just put up, 5 gallon baggies of fresh peaches, 4 pkgs of chicken livers and 4 pkgs of chicken livers, and some leftover stuff in bowls, I just tossed bowls and all. Thank God, pot luck was tomorrow, or I wouldn't have been out to the garage till next weekend, if then, and it would have smelled so bad, we'd have to get rid of the freezer. I just got it at Christmas!!!

Pass me a beer!!! And I dont' drink beer!!

I think I need 2 of each!!!

It got to 102º today, the freezer's not cooling, I'm wondering if it quit and lost suction on the door and it popped open. When I open it, then close it, and try to open it again because I forgot something. It usually has such a suction I can't open it for a good 10 minutes. It's not doing it now. Maybe I'm too impatient. I'll give it thru the night.

Tomorrow has got to be better.

Oh,, Nu.....You lost everything in your freezer? That SUX!! I have had that happen once and I almost cried over everything we lost....I tend to buy my meat when it's on sale, and stock up. Also, frozen dinners, etc.. I estimated that we lost around 3-4 hundred dollars of food when it happened to us........
