So... babe's been doing some handyman work for a lady who lives in our town... and this afternoon, here I am sitting at my work computer... WHEN HE DRIVES UP W/ THE LADY AND BRINGS HER INTO THE HOUSE!!!

He wanted to show her our walk-in closet and the shelving unit he built for our bathroom.

Now... I'm sitting at the computer w/ mascara smudges under my eyes... the house is a mess... the bed's a tangled shambles ... the bathroom looks like a bomb went off... and I'm trying not to crawl under a rock as he's introducing me to this really nice Chinese woman.

I WANTED TO KILL HIM!!!!!!!!!!!

A phone call??? FIVE minutes notice????

Yep, totally clueless and quite naive.

Years and years ago we had a business partner who was on a job out of town. Larry told his wife that he bring a check to their house on his way home from the shop. Well, he stopped and picked me up first.
We got to her house, she's in a negligee (at around 4:30 in the afternoon) all the blinds are drawn and candles lit and was drinking a glass of wine. You should have seen the look on her face when she yelled "come in" and I walked in with him! I was fit to be tied. I told Larry on our way home that it was totally inappropriate behavior and asked him not to go up there without me anymore unless Alan was home. He totally, totally, did not get that she was coming on to him.

Oh Luvs.... I'd be so pist off that my DH would be in the dog house for weeks.. I'm like you, just give me 5 minutes to straighten up a bit.. ARRGHHHHHH!!

Actually my DH did this to me two weeks ago and even after I told him not to. I was really busy working on an upcoming party and did not have time to straighten things up for visitors so I told him please do not invite them into the house it's a mess and I do not have time to clean right now. So he totally ignores me he brings them in and then asked why do I appear to be upset .

So I just blamed all the mess on him ...wheew paybacks are soo fun!

Some men have no shame hahahahaha.

I give up! I told him I'll find a way to embarrass him in the same way so he has an IDEA of what I'm talking about... but I don't think he has an embarrassment gene.

Sorry ladies - I guess I'm in the minority here. My husband would never do that to me. But then, if it did happen, I wouldn't worry, I don't let my house get in a mess but there are just the two of us and no pets. That helps considerabaly.
