  • Leather repair

Has anyone ever tried that leather repair they used to sell on TV? Where you match the color and swab on sticky stuff and then choose the texture of the leather and iron the texture on to set the sticky stuff? I thought I saw the same stuff recently, but they'd done away w/ the texture ironing stuff.

I have a tiny tear on my leather couch (thanks puppy) and would like to repair it before it gets any bigger.

    Any ideas??

    Re: Leather repair

No, I have not tried the leather repair kit that they used to show on TV. But I have leather furniture, so I will be watching this thread. So far I have not had to deal with tears. Have you tried calling a furniture store that deals mostly in leather furniture, they may have some info in regards to tears ???

      Re: Leather repair

Several years ago I tried to patch a hole in our leather car seat with the TV leather kit, it worked for a few months, then fell off.
