We're going to my parents who live at the lake. Hamburgers and hotdogs from what I can tell, tater salad, don't know what else. I'm suppose to bring dessert!

Well, this is our Canada Day long weekend here, and we are just hanging out, lots of friends stopping by once they get settled into their cottages, BBQ-ing, swimming,,,altho the weather is supposed to be really shitty. I've made potato salad, a pasta salad, we will grill steak, sausages, and whatever else! Graze every day!!!
BBQ'd baby backs, pot salad, FLoridagirly's baked beans, garlicky bread and individual mini chocolate cream pies.. For appys, shrimp with homemade cocktail sauce, NU's cornbread bites, and artichoke/spinach dip.
Change of plans here. We were invited to a big Fourth bash at a friends house, so I am not doing the major cooking. We are going to her husbands B-day party today and I will find out what I need to bring. I am going to offer to bring my Bruschetta. I will let you all know.
BBQ chicken parts on the grill, turkey smoked sausages, potato salad, cole slaw, grilled veggie skewers, sweet potato oven fries, Kings Hawaiian rolls, fruit salad and a Skor Bar refrigerator cake. Will have chips and dip and popcorn to snack on.
We're headed to Detroit, where I was born and lived until I was 12. Haven't seen fireworks there in 30 years.
No idea what we're gonna do for food. Given my druthers, I would like something I can't get here in Buffalo.. like White Castle. Isn't that just so wrong? Maybe my husband and I are really Harold and Kumar.
Today it's finally clearing up. You can finally see a little of the blue sky.. How is down your way Miss?
I am afraid to even say anything out loud. We have been pretty lucky this year so far and not had too many fires. We are still recovering in many places from last year and two years before that.
The heat is bad, and everything is so dry it would only take a small spark to start things again.
I have been watching the news and listening to the over 800 fires you guys had going all over the north. I hope they clear soon, and people can live a normal life again.
