call themselves, or we call them that, good grief, they just happen to be in the entertainments business, it does not make them special. that being said, the fact that tori spelling is in the news and calling her baby girl's birth a miracle, well, hellllllllo, all births are miracles, but do we make the news????? no???/ and why not??? i work, pay taxes, am a contributing member of society, but nooooooooooo, we are not in the entertainment business, so we the heck just dont rate.

if I was a celebrity, I would take full advantage of having a pedestal to stand on and state all my beliefs why not?

peeps would hear all about the charities i supported, and hear all about adopting foster children, and all about organ donation. something I feel so strongly about? yea I'd use my fame to get it heard.

when celebs are on the tv or in the people magazine, i turn the channel, and I don't buy the magazines..

Just the other day I heard something on the TV about Jennifer Lopez throwing a fit. She wanted the manager of a store, that she wanted to shop in to close the store down just for her so she could shop alone. The manager said "NO"!! So she demanded that she get 50% off everything she bought. Who do these people think they are!? Some of them make me sick.

Wessnicki, I can believe that one about J-Lo throwing a fit because a store manager wouldnt close for her. Years back there was a big stink here in Richmond because a local toy store had to close for 2 days because Demi Moore had an appointment to come in from out of town to do "private shopping" for Madam Alexander dolls. She didnt show up when she was supposed to, and requested for the store to remain closed until she was able to show up the next day. I believe she did end up paying a fee tho for the business that the store lost while it was closed pending her arrival. The store manager seemed to be excited about all the publicity the store was going to get, even if they lost money until Demi left town.

thier's a couple of reality star's that are in the new's..can't think of their names..but thier in the newspaper and magazine..i think their on a mtv reality show..i just don't get why thier so popular..maybe i need to be in my teens or twenties to understand..another thing..why wasn't george carlin on the cover of tv-guide..instead it was denise richard..

Wasn't there a big stink a few years ago when Oprah demanded a store be closed so she could do her shopping in private? As ridiculous as it all sounds... it's the media and our hunger for the most personal information. I don't blame a celebrity wanting to shop for granny panties in private!

Luvs beat me to it, I was just going to post that about Oprah. That happened a while back in Paris, I don't remember the name of the store or what kind of store. But I think the store was closed for a private event and Oprah demanded to be let in and they refused. I think that was it.
I can't believe anybody gives a flip what Tori Spelling thinks, does or says. If it wasn't for her father, nobody would know who she is. I group her in the same category with the others like paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, etc. Can you say " Airheads" and no talent.

Isn't it ashame we don't pay the people who deserve these people's money? Police, teachers, firefighters and many who work their butts off and not only don't get the pay but not the respect they deserve for trying to make this a better place to live. I don't watch the Celebrity Reality Shows. They bore me.

But, on the request by Celebrities that a store be closed down for them to shop, I can TOTALLY UNDERSTAND. I mean, good grief. They would not be able to actually DO any shopping if they tried to go during normal business hours. NOW, that being said. Should they always be forced to shop after hours? No. Although, that would certainly be MUCH easier for everyone involved... But, if they request that a store closes down for a couple of hours one day, then they DAMN sure should show up when they are supposed to...

I dont think any store should shut down during normal business hours for ANYONE, except maybe the President and First Lady of the U.S.A.; if celebs want private shopping, then go after hours, BECAUSE, they do not even function during normal hours of working poor. I can guarantee you that paris, lindsey, and the like, they are not up at 6:30 getting ready for work; heck no, they are still in bed, after partying until the wee hours. so why should a store, any store, close up for them. They need to figure it out, deal with it, and shut the heck up.
