As of last month, I've been a medical transcriptionist for 48 years - started at The Johns Hopkins Hospital as a trainee right from high school.Comment

Secretary for my local police department for 6 years now. But prior to that I worked as a Clinical Coordinator for Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons for 15 years.The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.
Faith is believing in advance what already makes sense in retrospect. O:-)

I'm a LVN, work for a family practice Dr for the last 12 yrs. Worked Critical care at Hospital for 7 yrs prior to that.
In TX and CA we're LVN's, in all the other states we're LPN's. I don't know why the difference, I'm vocational, and they're practical!

I am a secretary/bookkeeper/jack of all trades for a construction company that my husband and his brother owns. I have done other things in the past (taught English, sold real estate, etc.). That only means that I am old enough to have had other professions.Comment

I'm a retired LPN, working PRN (on call) about 40 hours a week in an Assisted Living. I went back to work when DH retired 2 years ago in order to avoid divorce proceedings after 40 years of marriage (just kidding).
I worked 20 years in a Skilled Long Term Care Facility (nursing home) & made sure all my residents & their families were extremely pleased with my care! Teacher for Pre-K Headstart. More red tape than I could handle. Loved my kids though. I now work as an Executive Administrative Assistant for a Construction Firm. I am a semi-retired Registered Nurse. Work for 10 years as a public health nurse during the week and worked labor and delivery on the week ends. Left those and went to work in a small rural hospital and retired as the Director of Nurses in 2002. I now work in their emergency room and do trauma and cardiovascular on a prn basis. Even work back in surgery when the regular nurse takes a vacation. Full time job being wife, mom and grandmother.Comment
