  • collar flower squash

    some one gave me some. how do i cook it? what does it taste like? i have only fooled with crook neck and yellow squash. you'll help me, please..

            I cannot find anything on it either. Just cauliflower or squash but not together.

              yellow squash i boil, cut it in slices and mash like potatoes,i like to mix with some shredded cheese,sauted peppers,then put in a casserole dish and bake,its good.oh, and salt and pepper, lol, also crunch up some crackers for a topping.

                I have 5 zucchini plants but just planted 1 yellow squash for the first time this year. I cannot wait to harvest! That sounds really good, thanks!

                  I have never heard of them either.
                  My favorite summer squash is pat a pan-

                  What I do with summer squash:

                  sauteed or broiled in the oven or on the grill with olive oil, garlic and rosemary

                  In red sauce (I pretend they are meatballs).

                  On kababs.....
