Babe is going to start his own handyman business... doing light stuff for the many retired peeps in our town. Can ya think of a good name for him? Mr. Handy doesn't sound so good.

Actually there is someone in our town that has a white van, with a cartoon-type painting of a handyman on the side. And he advertises as 'Mr. Handyman.Communicate. It can't make things any worse!Comment

He should also have some little cards made with his name, phone number, maybe pass them out at senior citizens places, post at grocery, etc. If he is reasonable with his prices, I would think he would get alot of referrals.Comment

I hope it works out for him! I live in a rural area where there is only one handyman service available and its frustrating trying to find someone. I was just telling DS a few days ago that there's money to be made out there if more guys would just get into the business!Comment

I think there is a need for that kind of service everywhere, not just retired people or single women, lot of couples , both working, often don't have time to get things done around the houseComment
