  • Do you have the Farberware FSRC100 10-Cup Rice Cooker

    Hey I need help I need to know if anyone has the Farberware FSRC100 10-Cup Rice Cooker if so could you please tell me how much water to put in for each cup of uncooked rice, my inscructions were lost and the rice scoop.... when I moved. Thanks for any help

      in general, it's double the water to the rice. and a little more.

      for 1 1/2 cup rice, i put in 3 cups ater, than add about 1/3 more.
      I don't want buns of steel. I want buns of cinnamon !!!

        I don't have the farberware rice cooker, but in my rice cooker I also do 1 part rice to 2 parts water

          The "scoop" that comes with the ricecookers are (generally) 3/4cup measure.
          -BUT- it depends on the type of rice you are using. Jasmine, sushi, brown, aborio take twice as much water as rice. The "boxed" minute type rice takes equal parts water to rice.
          I have a Wolgang Puck rice cooker and have to say...I have yet to use it for rice!!!! I make everything else in it but rice!!!
