Help!! How long is chicken good?

Here is our delema (sp?) DD left a bucket of KFC wings in the garage for about 2 1/2 hrs. Not in the refer! Is it still good? It smells fine, but I was wondering. When you buy it and bring it home it sits for an hour before you get around to putting it away when you have company so maybe just maybe it is okay still? Anyone? Thanks!

not too sure about that gmom...but when you go on a picnic foods usually sit out longer than that.

all depends on how hot your garage is and how long it was cooked before you got it. Personally, I wouldn't eat it, but I'm overly-careful in that way sometimes.

This is probably too late to be of any use. I mean you've probably either eaten the stuff or tossed it already, but I would have given it a good reheating in a hot oven. Put some water in the bottom of a pan, put in a rack, toss wings on top, seal, and heat for 20 minutes. If you want them crispy, don't add the water.

HA! Well we thought since the chicken was in their box and was still putting off some heat that it was still good and ate it...And like you Ro-Ro we thought about picnics and so we ate it. So far so good! Thanks for all the help!
