Anyone watch it? If not and you don't want to know just don't read. I will say first, Paula was really good as a judge, I laughed so much, she was upfront & really told them how she felt about the food. Bobby Flay is so cocky, I really don't like him. Not just this show but other shows he is on too. They made the right choice last night, she is young and needs a little more experience but I think she will do fine. Please don't let Lisa win!!! She is more into cooking the food that personality. Any of the 2 guys left would be fine by me.

Re: Next Foodnet Star, voted off, don't peek
I really don't care for any one of the three left. I guess if I had to choose one I'd go with Aaron even though I would find his voice hard to listen to for a whole 1/2 hr. Anyone remember the guy who did the "cola nut" commercial years ago? Thats who he sounds like!

The 1st run Sunday nightshow is too late for me, but I've caught them all in reruns during the day on the weekend. Lisa needs to just wear glasses. I'm thinking she has single vision contacts and needs bifocals. I've never seen anyone squint so darned much.

I also think the tasks are way too hard and sometimes a bit unrealistic. Luvs--I agree--they should work on cooking and camera skills. That's what it is all about. They are not going to be doing many of the things they have if they have a show of their own. I guess I am a the lone ranger here, cause I LOVE Bobby Flay!! I always have liked him. The one I can't stand and she was only on the first or second show, is Giada. She is downright nasty to the contestants. I love to cook and know alot about food, as many of us do here, but I''m sure I would be kicked off on the first show.

Don't feel like a lone ranger...I love Bobby Flay, too!
As for the contests they give them...really unrealistic! I wish they'd give them scenarios on "what can go wrong" on a show. Things like the oven not working, one of the ingredients is missing, and just getting familiar with being in front of the camera. And working with a celebrity guest. Anyway, I wish last year's winner, Amy would have done better, but she really didn't do well on her own. I was just glad Rory didn't win, because she was absolutely obnoxious (and I didn't like her on the other competition she was in, either). For this year's contestants, I just hope squinty doesn't win. She annoys me!

Re: Next Foodnet Star, voted off, don't peek
I dont think challenges should be challenges that really will never happen; show me how to do something or cook something that I cananot do, that I order from a restaurant because it is soooo good. show me tricks to make it taste better, but to ask them to do these stupid idiotic challenges that are so unrealistic, makes me not want to watch anymore. so that is why I LIKE Paula, or the Neelys, or Sandra Dee, you can learn from them because they, for the most part, cook things that I would cook.
