Strange...... pudding

Made some pudding the other day. Put Vanilla on the bottom then put some chocolate pudding on top of the vanilla. Last night daughter goes to eat a pudding, and asks what kind of pudding is this???????? The vanilla had turned green. So we had an army green color with chocolate on top.....looked really strange. Down the drain it went.
What would cause this?

I bet it was just the brown color and the yellow color reacting together. I would have thrown it out too. Don't ever want to take a chance with our kids

Next time maybe try a layer of cool whip inbetween layers?
