Don't even have to read the article to know that government/prescription plans have paid for viagra for years, but won't pay for the pill to prevent the pregnancies caused by all those horney men...

Who said life was fair... and that women were the WEAKER sex?

Don't know particulars, Tx... but I've read that prescription plans have covered 'scrips for Viagra but won't cover birth control pills. Doesn't make sense to me. Lemme do some reasearch!

I have to say I like the honesty as well. It is just so refreshing after all the yadda, yadda, yadda that comes out of ALL politicians mouths. Hopefully he will take this cue to research and learn more, that to me would be be great

Saw this on Jon Stewart the other night, and it SCARED THE H-LL OUT OF ME (well, after I laughed so hard I peed a little).

I think he paused way to long to have come up with "I dont know". If he didnt know than say it...dont rack your brain searching for some answer that will get you elected...

Re: John MCCain's Take on Viagra & Birth Control Coverage

There Are Alot Of Ins Co. That Pay For Viagra. I Haven't Come Across One Yet That Doesn't Pay For Birthcontrol Pills. They Have A Formulary, They'll Pay For One And Not The Other, We Just Switch Them.

Not Paying For Bcp's Will Be Like Out Making Abortions Illegal... I Don't Agree With Abortions For Birthcontrol Purposes, But There Is A Time And Place For Them.
If They're Made Illegal, The Girls Will Find A Way To Do It And Die From Infections Or Perferated Uterus's.

In The Real World, People Are Going To Have Sex No Matter What. We Have To Have Bcp's To Help Solve Unwanted Pregnancies.

I took birth control pills for many years and they were covered by my insurance company, Blue Cross blue shield. They also covered HRT

Re: John MCCain's Take on Viagra & Birth Control Coverage

There Is No Way For One Person To Know What Each And Every Insurance Company Covers. Each Company Has Ump-teen Numbers Of Different Policies That Pay For Different Things. I Deal With Rx Coverage Every Day. I Couldn't Tell You If This Blue Cross Policy Covers The Same Or Different From The Other Blue Cross Policy. It's Rediculous The People Who Have To Do Without Medications Because Their Insurance Won't Cover It, Heart Meds, Blood Pressure Meds, Important Things, And Their Too Expensive For Them To Afford.

The difference is the media is so in love with him that they wouldn't ask him a question like that to try and make a fool out of him.
When my day goes downhill and I start to feel upset, my thoughts turned to chocolate gifts and everything turns out ok.
