  • Mamma mia, mamma mia

Getting together with the girls tomorrow night and going to see Mamma mia. I really like Meryl Streep and the reviews look good. I loved Abba years ago as well.

After the show we are coming back to my house for some munchies and adult beverages.

I love Meryl Streep too. The movie looks really cute. I heard she was interviewed and said she wanted to make the movie and dance and embarrass her kids... ha ha ha!!

I Saw This On Stage It Was Very Good. I Didn't Realize They Were Making A Movie. I Might Have To Get The Girls Together For This Also.

Do any of you remember the 1968- ish movie " Buona Sera Mrs Campbell?" I think it was the original basis for Mama Mia. It had Telly Savalas, Peter Lawford and Phil Silvers with Genna Lolabridigda playing the mom. But the movie is much better updated with ABBA

My cousin and I went to see it tonight. We LOVED IT!!! I laughed so hard, I wet my pants!!! Really!!! This was THE BEST comedy I've ever seen. Let me say, though, that although Pierce Brosnan is a stud, he can't sing, at all. That made it even funnier. Go see it with girlfriends. It was the best $7 I've spent in a long time.

I know that is so funny. I saw this last week with a friend from work, and we went to a drive in. We sat outside on lawn chairs. Most of the people there were women. Everyime Pierce Brosnan started to sing, the women behind us would burst out laughing. I loved the movie too. I loved ABBA when I was a teen in the early 80's. My BF at the time loved ABBA too, and out song was Super Trouper.

My DIL saw it last week then came home and insisted I go see it with her the next day. It is fun and very different! There were people of all ages in the theatre and everyone was having a good time! There are not many movies I care to buy and watch more than once, but Mama Mia would definitely be one that I could watch (or at least listen to) over and over. (It would be great to work out to, come to think of it!)

My neigbour has been raving about this movie. She had seen the stage production and said, while that was good, the movie was fantastic.
