Not moving after all... :(

I forgot to post about our change of plans. If you remember, we were going to move downstairs in our apartment complex. Well, they raised the rent so much on that place that we couldn't afford it. I think we could find a 2 bedrm house for less that what they want for that apartment! So we are looking for another place to move. Rents are ridiculous here in Cali. I know we'll find something better eventually. Everything happens for a reason.

Wow, luvs! I know they have cheap rent in Georgia where my DD, Cindi lives, too, but I don't know about moving there. I'm afraid the humidity would kill me!! Do they have a lot of pools in Arkansas? Rick would have to be able to find a job there. Doesn't really matter for me. I've retired. I'd actually rather move up north to Washington or Oregon.

Yes, he has a great pool job here, and we don't have the means for a big move right now. We're trying to save up so we can get out of Callie.

we just lost our best pool store ever. poor management.
we pretty much have to use this one place because the other is so expensive, so they got us by the pony tail. pool buisness stinks here bad.

Not a lot of pools cause there's tons of huge lakes. I don't blame you for wanting to move to WA or OR... both are so beautiful!!

my mom lives really really close to luvs.

not many pools because of the mountians lots of rock to dig through.

We live in a cul de sac , 11 houses, 7 have pools. And they all take care of their own pools. In our other house we had a pool and SO took care of it, it really is no big deal to take care of a pool.

We have a 26x52 pool, we chose to have someone "take care of it". It is 10 feet deep,.(and you KNOW what it's like to vacuum).

We CHOSE to have someone take care of our pool. It will be clean when unexpected guests arrive. It's worth the money. Nothing like someone checking chemicals, and making sure the last storm didn't make a mess. I know I can walk out there at anytime and it will be clean. We do the same with our house (inside and out).
