  • Chorizo sausage

Saw both beef and pork chorizio sausage in WallyWorld the other day. Both were about a foot-long sausage... for about $1.75, which I thought was a great price. I read the ingredients... as I always have to (celiac)... and it was beef or pork (from salivary glands, lymph nodes, cheek fat).

If it had just said "beef" or "pork" I'd probably have bought several! I didn't buy any!!

ME TOO!! I've never seen such detailed info on a label... all I needed to know was "pork." Now I'm wondering what's in other types of sausage!!

                  Re: Chorizo sausage

Usually the print on the labels is so small I can't read it, unless I put my reading glasses on. So I just decided that I am not meant to read that fine print. LOL

It is good but very greasy. If the ingredients sound bad to you, don't read the label on potted meat! LOL! I think the use the lips too..Lol!

Potted Meat.... Mechanically Seperated Chicken and Beef Tripe are the main ingredients. I just happened to have a can of this!
