Yes, I watched.... I'm happy too.. I'd be happy with any one of them... All the pilots were good too. I'll eat crow now... LOL!

Jana they all looked like good pilots when they ran them after editing it. You would not even know they were nervous while filming it.

Answering my own question... I just checked, it'll be on Sunday at 10:30a on Dish. It's titled, The NFNS Winner Series. So check your local listings...

I hope he does well, Lisa did good tonight toned it down with all the fancy cooking. Her dishes for me, required more steps, we want good food & easy to cook. Adam or Aaron either one. Guess we will look out for the Big Daddy show. I like Gordon Elliott. He did a good job listening to them & trying to make them at ease in front of the camera.

Food network accidentally announced the winner a few days ago on the site and than took it down right away but for me it was already to late.

I was disappointed with their choice. I think Aaron talks like he has a mouth full of mush and it is hard for me to understand him. I will not be watching him.

I agree with nutsky, I cant believe food networks "powers that be" didnt have that conversation behind closed doors...he sounds like a bad lisp gone wrong or something. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with having a lisp...just that how can he teach me a new technique if I cant understand his words?

I, too, think Adam would have been the MUCH better choice. I think his concept was geared towards the "getting out of college, sick of mac/cheese" crowd, but would also appeal to foodies like us (on the PC and the TV). His show was fresh, had a different approach, and was geared towards the VEIWER...not the cook. I think his pich was brillant! You would think food network would want to "hook" the younger group now...right?
