my Dad

My Dad fell again today, and is back in the hospital. And my step mom has been ordered off her feet for two months...........and is going to see her doctor tomorrow to see about surgery on her feet to repair the torn tendons. I believe they will both have to go to a rehab after the hospital stay to get PT and build some strength

any good thoughts and prayers are welcome

You and your family will be in my prayers. The facility I work at has a rehab floor where often we have husbands and wives who can room together while getting therapy. I hope thats an option in your area. It may not be perfect for every couple, but I have seen some patients who room together and progress faster, maybe because they didnt have the worry of being separated from their partner.

I went by tonight to help my Dad eat dinner......he ate everything, turkey, mashed taters, gravy and green beans. Also angel food cake. We got to talk for a few hours, about our cruise to Panama Canal, and old days and the current news.

He will have a angiogram later this week to see if he has blockages in his heart. And they will do the balloon thing if he does. They are also trying to control his blood sugar, which could be a part of his symptoms.

Thank you all for the prayers, they are really felt and working.

I am just not ready to lose my Dad......
