I'm thinking about buying some of the green bags used for fruits and vegetables. Has anyone tried them? If so, what do you think of them?

Re: green bags
Dont know about the Dollar Gen. bags, but the genuine Debbie Meyers Green Bags that they sell on TV are just as good as they advertise. I'm usually leery of infomercials, but we have a big garden and needed something to help keep the produce fresh so I ordered a set. They are wonderful!! They keep even fragile things like okra and cucumbners fresh for days and days. The trick is 'read the directions'....you dont' tie them or fold them shut tightly.....sjust put the produce in and leave the end loosely open. I have reused them each several times and they are still working....I've had them since last summer.

Re: green bags
I got mine off of QVC or HSN. I dont know if theyre the original green bags tho. Mine are 3 different sizes and colors. They work great! Can keep lettuce for a month and I had some Green and Red Peppers for over 2 months stored in these bags.
